2025 Miss universe crown on parade

The Lumière de l’Infini (“Light of Infinity”) crown, the official Miss Universe crown introduced during the 2024 pageant cycle, made a high-profile appearance at Jewelmer’s Palm Beach boutique in 2025 — turning heads and celebrating the rich craftsmanship behind this historic piece.

This isn’t just any crown: it is the first-ever Filipino-crafted Miss Universe crown, created by luxury jewelry house Jewelmer, renowned for its golden South Sea pearls. The crown was meticulously handcrafted over a laborious five-year process, involving 377 discrete steps from concept to completion.

Design-wise, the crown is deeply symbolic. Twenty‑three golden South Sea pearls — Jewelmer’s national gem — form the centerpiece, while rays of diamonds radiate outward, evoking sunlight and the four elements of nature: earth, water, air, and fire. The structure’s spiraling gold tendrils mirror seafoam and wind, a tribute to Jewelmer’s maritime roots.

After its debut on the Miss Universe stage, the crown returned to the Philippines, but not before making stops for exclusive viewing events — including a rare exhibition at Jewelmer’s Palm Beach store. For Jewelmer, this was more than just a display: it was a symbolic homecoming, underscoring Filipino artistry and global prestige.

Since its return, the crown has become a powerful emblem of Jewelmer’s vision: “beauty with purpose” and a harmony between human craft and nature. While the original remains under Jewelmer’s care, it isn't always on public show; private viewings at their Maison Jewelmer give select clients and art lovers a chance to experience the piece up close.

The Lumière de l’Infini is now firmly part of Miss Universe’s legacy — a modern symbol of global beauty, Filipino craftsmanship, and the timeless elegance of the sea.
